These drawings were inspired by stories of the most haunted places on Earth. I have researched into the history of the RMS Queen Mary, the Pendle Hill witch trials and the Stanley Hotel which Stephen King based ‘The Shining’ on.
I have experimented with a range of drawing techniques such as continuous line, blind drawing, cross hatching and using a rubber with charcoal. I think these techniques have worked really well for the theme I have chosen but I would like to try others such as mono printing and photography.
